You will be able to discover the Pays d'Auge, territory of Calvados of which we are a part.You will discover there stud farms with an international reputation because even more than that of the cow, Calvados is without context the country of the horse.

With its typical half-timbered houses, its fields dotted with apple trees in blossom and its racing horses, the Pays d'Auge is a traditional region of Normandy. 


Land of art and history, many gastronomic specialties come from this region: Calvados, Cider,

and many great cheeses.

The Cider Route

In the heart of the Pays d'Auge, known and recognized for the quality of its local products, amid stud farms, apple orchards, half-timbered houses and mansions, the Cider Route is a real postcard of our heritage.
Combined with the pleasure of the eyes and that of the taste buds, it allows you to meet the producers and discover all the mysteries of the transformation of apples into juice, cider, pommeau and Calvados.   Don't miss tasting all the products of the Pays d'Auge and discovering the know-how of the producers of our region. 

The PDO Cheese Route

  An opportunity to discover the secrets of the cheeses that make the reputation of our region through visits to cheese factories, farms, and tastings.

Second sanctuary city in France, Lisieux is one of the most important places of pilgrimage in Europe, where you can discover the life of Saint Thérèse of Lisieux and her parents.
Lisieux was also until the French Revolution,

the seat of a Bishopric.

The Sainte-Thérèse Basilica (built in the 20th century), the Carmel of Lisieux, the Maison des Buissonnets (the childhood home of Thérèse), the Saint-Pierre Cathedral (12th and 13th centuries), its museums…

Very first city liberated on June 7, 1944, you will be charmed by strolling through the historic center of this old medieval city: old Bayeux, with its half-timbered houses,

its cobbled streets, its mansions…

Its impressive Notre Dame Cathedral, of Romanesque and Gothic architecture Its museums including that of the Bayeux Tapestry where this unique document is exhibited

in the world made in the 11th century.

The Cliffs of Etretat
